Betty Margolin Robinson passed away on October 2, 2017. She died peacefully at home in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, next to the ocean she so loved.
Betty, affectionately called Kacky by her family, was born in Memphis, Tennessee on October 15, 1929 to Fannie and Joseph Margolin. While attending the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, she met her Beloved, Frank. While raising their three children, she received her undergraduate and Master's degrees in French from Memphis State University, both with Honors. She enjoyed a career in teaching at Memphis State University and Memphis University School. Her students both loved and respected Mrs. Robinson.
Kacky, an avid reader, loved to travel. Most of all she loved being with her family, whom she taught respect, trust, service, and acceptance. She leaves an enduring legacy of dignity, intelligence, and integrity.
She is survived by her sister Evelyn Graber (Marlin); her children Golden Bearman (Stephen), Richard Robinson (Nancy), and Stacey Wypyski (Eugene); her eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and her dear friend and caregiver Rebecca Powell.
