Marcia E. Hayden, 84, of Germantown, TN, died on December 25, 2023. She was born in Memphis in 1939 to Arthur and Sadie Evensky and spent her early years in Parkin, Arkansas before the family moved to Memphis.

Marcia attended Snowden Elementary School and Central High School before studying at The University of Oklahoma in Norman.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Bette Greene. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 65 years, Allan Hayden, her three sons, Howard Hayden (Carol) of Germantown, Joel Hayden (Leigh) of Garner, NC, and Jerry Hayden (Sally) of Miami Beach, 7 grandsons, and scores of extended family and dear friends.

Marcia was a wonderful mother and homemaker before working for 24 years as a District Training Supervisor for Walgreens. She and Allan were fortunate to retire early and travelled the world. She will be dearly missed.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 27th in Levy-Cooper Chapel at Temple Israel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the charity of the donors’ choice.
