From Mort Epstein Junior:

Abe "Teddy" Tenenbaum was my grandmothers second husband. He was the only grandfather I knew even though they were married when I was a little kid. He and his brother owned several stores in Atlanta that were called Bell’s. In the early years the stores were kind of five and dime, but later they became more gift stores as well as carrying some craft items as well. He was very old school, no nonsense but had a good sense of humor. As a kid when I would visit him and my grandmother at the store, he always would let shop for candy and little toys. He did out live my grandmother by a couple of years, but after her death he ended up in Columbus Ohio to be with his son Lee. He was liked pretty well by both my father and Burt and all of us kids called him Uncle Teddy, since he was not our natural grandfather. I always was fond of him.
