When Ida Cora (Chaya) Carroll was born in 1858 in Russia, her father, Elya, was 30, and her mother, Leona, was 27. She married Helman Blumberg in 1876. They had 11 children in 23 years. She died on November 7, 1921, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at the age of 63, and was buried there.

Mrs. H Blumberg, aged 63, died Monday at her home, 1613 Read avenue, after a short illness. She lived in Chattanooga for more than forty years. She is survived by her husband, six daughters and two sons. The daughters are Mrs. Joe Jacobson and Mrs. Joe Jacobs, both of Atlanta; Mrs. Eva Pearlman, Americus, GA.; Mrs. N. Cantor and the Misses Alice and Jennie Blumberg, of this city. the sons are Rube, of Atlanta, and Louis, of this city. Interment took place Wednesday in the Hebrew cemetary.
