Relation to Rosalyn Cohen Reset
Betty Ann Romm Jacobson, the wife of Harvey Jacobson, the son of Rose Blumberg Jacobson, the sister of Louis Eliel Blumberg, the father of Marjorie Ruth Blumberg Katz, the wife of Ellis Robert Katz, the son of Ethel Miller Katz, the sister of Lena S Miller, the mother of Rosalyn Cohen

The daughter of Rosalee and Sol Romm, both of blessed memory, she grew up in Atlanta, graduated from Girls High, and attended the University of Illinois, earning a degree in journalism. Throughout her life, Betty was known as the consummate community volunteer. She was the first woman president of the Atlanta Jewish Federation, as well as its first woman Endowment Chair. She was President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Brandeis University National Women's Committee, and held many leadership positions with the American Jewish Committee, The Temple, the United Way of Atlanta, and Oakland Cemetery Historical Foundation. She was honored with countless awards, most notably the Atlanta Jewish Federation Lifetime Achievement Award, the American Jewish Committee Selig Distinguished Service Award, and she was a recipient of the YWCA Greater Atlanta Salute to Women. But Betty's greatest passion was her family. From PTA to Girl Scouts, Betty's selflessness thrived while spending time with her children and grandchildren.
