When Babette Haber Greenspan was born on August 22, 1925, in Nashville, Tennessee, her father, Paul, was 25, and her mother, Fannie, was 22. She married Herbert Carroll Blumberg in 1947. They had three children during their marriage. She died on January 3, 2005, in Rome, Georgia, at the age of 79, and was buried there.
